WCASET

Applied science, engineering, and technology each represent an increasingly broad, highly interdependent but distinct category of activities. The '43rd World Conference on Applied Science, Engineering, & Technology (WCASET)', which will be held on the 29th & 30th of December, 2022, in Goa, will emphasise help disseminate knowledge on the following -

the latest know-how that serves as a direct origin of ideas for new technological possibilities.

the latest tools and techniques for more effective engineering design and a knowledge base for assessing the feasibility of designs;

novel and proven research instrumentation, laboratory techniques and analytical methods used in research (that eventually find their way in design or industrial practices, often through intermediaries disciplines);

raising awareness on the practice of research as a source of development and assimilation of new skills and human capacities that may be useful for technology;

serving in the creation of a knowledge base which is becoming increasingly important in the evaluation of technology in terms of its broader social and environmental impacts;

offering participants a knowledge base that enables more effective strategies for applied research, development and refinement of new technologies.

Thus, engineering, applied science, technology, and innovation each represent a successively larger universe of activities that are strongly interdependent, yet distinct from one another. Even success in technology per se, let alone science, provides an insufficient basis for success in the whole process of technological innovation. In fact, the relationship between science and technology is best thought of in terms of two parallel streams of cumulative knowledge, which have many interdependencies and cross-relationships, but whose internal connections are much stronger than their cross-connections. This conference will help participants think of this concept as two strands of DNA that can exist independently, but can't be truly functional until they're paired.

Benefits of Conference

The 43rd WCASET seeks to accomplish the two major goals of applied science, engineering, and technology education to help participants grasp various novel phenomena and solve the latest problems plaguing their respective fields. In essence, attendees will gain the following benefits -

  • right-arrowInsider's Perspective On The Biggest Research Projects

    Since scientists often construct evidence-based explanations for phenomena, professionals who are going to be involved in these fields must also engage in the same activities as scientists. This conference will offer them an insider's perspective on these activities.

  • right-arrow Access To Critical New Knowledge

    With new knowledge emerging from research over the past two decades on how professionals learn and how to teach science, engineering, and technology more effectively, this conference has made an active effort to implement all of these insights for the benefit of all participants.

  • right-arrowAwareness Of The Best Modern Tools

    To best prepare the next generations of professionals to explain scientific phenomena and to have the tools to use this knowledge to meet the current and future challenges facing our societies and our planet, this conference will offer attendees working demonstrations of all these tools.
